The Music Machine is back, and it's Open House!

Hi everyone

I hope you can join me again for the Music Machine, Saturday at the usual time of 7 PM UK which is 2 PM Eastern in America.

This week, we're not having a theme, so if there's anything at all you would like to hear, do let me know. We do have plenty of features as well.

It's All Change at the Docking Station.

Hi to all

We're very pleased with the feedback we received relating to the Evolution of Rock documentary which we've been running for over a year. We now move to a new documentary, the History of Rock and Roll. This tells the story of rock and pop music from a very different perspective.

The Music Machine says: "Tell Me a Story, Then I'll Go To Bed".

Not many people will recognise that song by Frankie Lane from 1953. But it partly sums up our Music Machine theme this week, although we don't want you to go to bed right after it because the Inside Track with Brian D is on. But do tune into the Music Machine on Saturday at 7 PM UK time, 2 PM US Eastern! www.team-fm.com.

The Music Machine Will Bring You Some Fancy Footwork!

Hi everyone

I hope you can join me on Saturday at 7 PM UK which is 2 PM US Eastern for the Music Machine, on the station where great music matters! www.team-fm.com.

Do you have a favourite pair of athletic shoes? ?What about a pair of sexy come hither stilettos? When you go on a first date, for a job interview, or you just want to impress, remember that shoes say a lot about a person. And that's the subject of this week's Music Machine, songs with shoes, boots or any footware in the title!

The Music Machine says: Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers!

Hi everyone

I hope you can join me for the Music Machine this Saturday at the usual time of 7 PM UK, which is 2 PM US Eastern!

The theme this week? It's all about alliteration. Song titles where each word begins with the same letter. Let me give you some examples. Sunshine Superman. Pipes of Peace. Maggie May. You get the idea. If you can think of song titles which fit into that category, I'd like to hear them! You've got a day to think about it.

The Music Machine, the Show That Will Not Cost You an Arm and a Leg.

Hi Everyone

I look forward to being back in your company on Saturday at 7 PM UK time, 2 PM US Eastern, for the Music Machine on the station where great music matters!

Lots of features to come, but the body of the show will be about, the body! Songs with body parts in the title. So if you'd like someone to cry on your shoulder, or maybe you think you've got hot legs or lucky lips, I'd like to hear about song titles with parts of the body in them.

Saluting the Pirates and the Motown Story this Sunday!

On Sunday, we have two special programmes for you.

At 4 PM, as part of Team-FM's Docking Station comprising music-based documentaries, we begin the Motown Story. What is good about listening to these documentaries is that you get to hear from artists and groups of the time, some of whom are now no longer with us. In part 1, you will hear from artists such as Berry Gordy, Barrett Strong, Mary Wells, Joe Billingsley and Marvin Gaye.
It's a fascinating well-narrated story!

Then at 5 PM it's Our Time, the show where we celebrate music of the 60's and 70's.

Our Time is Always a Good time!

Hi everyone

Do you remember the show Our Time, celebrating music of the 60's and 70's? It's been away for a few weeks but it is now back, Sunday at 5 PM UK time, 12 PM US eastern.

This week, we have the music history, looking at musical events from previous years on 6 august. We'll also be going back to this week in 1971, and reviewing the charts, and hearing movie clips, commercials and news archive.

The Music Machine says: Greetings Music Lovers!

Hi everyone

I hope you can join me for the Music Machine this Saturday at the usual time of 7 PM UK, 2 PM US Eastern. As usual there's a lot to get into the show!

This week, I'm looking for your songs with greetings or salutations within them. I'm thinking of songs such as Lionel Richie's Hello, or Train with Hey Soul Sister! Anything that could be used to address people when you meet them or leave them.

The Music Machine: Too Much, Too Little, Too Late!

Hi everyone

As usual I will be on air for the Music Machine this Saturday at 7 PM UK time, 2 PM US Eastern, I hope you can tune in!

The format of the show is similar to last week's. We have a theme running throughout the show, songs containing the words much, little and late in the title. If Johnny Mathis and Deniece Williams can come up with a good 70's classic, I'm sure collectively we can think of some excellent songs to play with those words in the titles.
