Hi to all

Today we begin the process of moving to new premises. This will mean a small number of our shows are going to have to take a back seat temporarily. We do stress this is only going to be for a short time as we know many people enjoy the shows on Retro Day in particular and we do not like to disappoint.

We're fortunate that very often we hear from our listeners. Many of you (especially those who work) love the Ten In One Team Machine. While there are many commercial music services around, we know you appreciate the wide range of music played and of course that unique Team-FM sound! On Friday and at the weekends, we know that you love the high quality shows we provide as well.

Well, it's nearly here, Santa will soon be on his way, and the Team-FM holiday programmes are in full swing! Whether you are wrapping presents, out with family and friends, or particularly if you are on your own during the festivities, why not drop into Team-FM for some company and hear some great entertainment. Particularly this year we hope that what we have to offer will help with loneliness and keeping up your spirits.

As Christmas draws near, and our holiday entertainment through to the new year begins, it's time for the Music Machine Christmas special. From 9 PM to 12 midnight, I'll keep you entertained with lots of upbeat tunes, the majority of which will have a festive feel.

A number of you use our apps to listen to our station on both the I O S and Android platforms. Thank you for doing that.

We're making some changes to both Team-FM apps, which will allow us to give you a better service before our extensive Christmas programming this year, and because we have some exciting plans we hope to put in place in 2022.

Your app should update automatically. However if it doesn't, feel free to check for updates in the next few days.

Loyal listeners to Team-FM will know exactly what we are talking about here. Our festive anthem has always been "Once Upon a Christmas Song" by Geraldine McQueen otherwise known as Peter Kay.
And, once again, the Airsleigh40 chart is open!

Airsleigh40 is a top 40 chart of the favourite Christmas songs as voted for by you which we always hear on the station towards the big day. Our Christmas anthem is usually in the top 10, and we'd love to see it get a really high position this time.

So, if you can spare the time, please vote! Here is how to do it.

The secret is out. After 40 years, ABBA are back in town. With two new songs available right now with the remainder of an album to follow in November, there's a lot for ABBA fans still to discover. Some people have waited the best part of a lifetime for this moment.

For a number of years on the Music Machine, I've produced ABBA specials. I am a huge ABBA fan: I have many books about them, (some are better than others), and know a good deal about their music. What do I think of the new material that we've heard so far? Join me on Saturday at 7 PM to find out.

We're always looking for high quality entertainment to bring you each week on Team-FM. It has to be as good as we can get it as you only deserve the best. So, a new series of the award-winning Totally 80's returns!

Totally 80's is professionally hosted by well-known British broadcaster Gary King. Gary was the first presenter on Atlantic 252, He then spent nearly two years at BBC Radio 1, he's worked for Capital FM and Jazz FM together with Smooth Radio.

Sadly during the past few weeks, one of our primary presenters and Manager of our station, Lulu, has suffered ill health. This has made it quite difficult for her to complete the shows for Team-FM to the standard we have always thought our listeners should receive.

Yes it's true. On 19 June this year, this version of Team-FM will have been on the air without interruption for five years. Loyal listeners will know that we do not celebrate the station's birthday annually. In fact sometimes, even we forget it and let it go by and just keep producing the best shows we can. But given the date falls on a Saturday, we thought we would do something a little more special.
