Your Guide to the Holidays!
Well, it's nearly here, Santa will soon be on his way, and the Team-FM holiday programmes are in full swing! Whether you are wrapping presents, out with family and friends, or particularly if you are on your own during the festivities, why not drop into Team-FM for some company and hear some great entertainment. Particularly this year we hope that what we have to offer will help with loneliness and keeping up your spirits.
We started our Christmas celebrations this past Saturday with festive shows across the weekend, and today we've brought you christmas entertainment from 1 PM.
From shows filled with nostalgia, through to those presented by well-known celebrities and current mainstream radio personalities, we hope you'll enjoy our Christmas and New Year lineup!
There's no shortage of shows to check out this holiday time with festive tunes, the latest hits and oldies. For those who love radio from the past, we've brought back our very popular chart re-creations you've enjoyed so much over the years. In addition, we've brought back our 12-hour New Year's Eve party!
All times for the programmes below are for the UK, however throughout the holiday you'll see these displayed in the Schedule on our website in the time zone of your choosing.

Saturday 24 December.
9 AM. The Retro Chart Show with Dave Mac.
He's the man with the bag of records. Dave Mac is along to bring you the Christmas Retro Chart show. He'll count down the charts from two great years, and you'll hear the Christmas number 1's, but which years will they be?
11 AM. The 100 Biggest Hits at Christmas 2022 with Claire Sturgess.
She's back. She has the stars, the music and Christmas goodies to entertain you this Christmas Eve. New for 2022, Claire Sturgess brings you the 100 biggest hits at Christmas. With those classics and newer festive favourites you just have to sing along to, she'll be there to help your Christmas preparations go with a swing. You'll even hear from the stars with the stories behind some of the classics and those songs released within the past few years.
7 PM. Totally 80's Christmas with Gary King.
Gary King gives to you a Totally 80's Christmas. As well as the great Christmas hits from the decade, a number of celebrity guests will choose their favourite festive songs too.
9 PM. Airsleigh40 with Spencer James.
You've been voting and this is the countdown to end all countdowns. People from all over the world have been voting for their festive favourites and Spencer james will reveal all in the Christmas airsleigh40.
Sunday 25 December.
9 AM. The Meaning of Christmas with Lulu Hartgen.
We begin Christmas Day in the traditional way. Lulu brings to you the Meaning of Christmas, a mixture of classic and modern poetry together with your favourite Christmas carols performed by the finest choirs to begin the day with a little quiet reflection.
10 AM. Music For a Merry Christmas with Brian and Lulu Hartgen.
Many people have a party at Christmas, but there's nothing like spending time with your family or together. That's what Brian and Lulu will be doing as they play music for a merry christmas. whether you are unwrapping your presents on Christmas morning, cooking the turkey, or maybe you are on your own this Christmas day, there's something for you in this show. In a six hour extravaganza starting at 10 AM, they will keep you entertained all Christmas day long.
4 PM. Charts From the Past With Tommy Vance.
We continue our christmas tradition of listening to some of the UK singles charts of the past. and we start with a fabulous Christmas chart from 1982. Tommy vance not only played the songs but he told you about them too. enjoy artists such as Madness, Culture Club, Shakin' Stevens and David Bowie with Bing Crosby.
6 PM. Its the Most One-DerFul Song of the Year with Brian Hartgen.
Brian not only plays some of the best christmas number 1 singles, but he also delves into the album charts too. Many of us loved getting albums for christmas, some of us still do, and here's a chance to relive some of the greatest.
8 PM. Charts From the Past with Tom Brown.
Tom Brown takes us back to Christmas Day 1977. Hear songs from Wings, ELO, David Soul and Showaddywaddy.
9 PM. A Merry Disney Christmas with Brian and Lulu Hartgen.
Join Brian and Lulu once again as we hear Disney classics from the very old to the newest. The magic of Disney is the perfect way to enjoy your Christmas day as with Disney, all your dreams come true!
11 PM. The Meaning of Christmas with Lulu Hartgen.
A chance to end the day in reflective mood or for those who could not hear it
earlier, the meaning of Christmas ends our day with beautiful poetry and carols.
Monday 26 December.
10 ~AM. The Song with Brian and Lulu Hartgen.
Everyone enjoys a good love song. There are those which are upbeat, or the slow romantic gems. Brian and Lulu play songs from a survey compiled by national music experts containing the very best of them. Hear some of the finest love songs ever together with the full top 5 and that all important number 1.
4 PM. Totally 80's with Gary King.
Gary King returns with Totally 80's, everything to remind you of the decade of decadence. Paul Mccartney will be his special guest.
6 PM. Charts From the Past with Richard Skinner.
Richard takes us back to 1984. Hear songs from Elton John, Level 42 and OMD.
8 PM. We Nearly Made It with Brian Hartgen.
It is amazing for a group or artist if they get into the top 10. But what if you just miss out on that coveted chart position? Brian looks at those songs which reached number 11 on the chart and gives you fascinating factsabout the songs too.
Tuesday 27 December.
2 PM. The All Time 100 Movie songs With Claire Sturgess.
Claire Sturgess focuses on songs which have appeared in blockbuster movies. You'll hear music from the 60's through to today. Claire is joined by many of the biggest stars from the movies, such as Brad Pitt, Kevin Costner, Tom Cruise, Jennifer Lawrence, Julia Roberts, Cameron Diaz and so many others. Which song will be number 1?
Wednesday 28 December.
2 PM. The Music Trail 2022 with Brian and Lulu Hartgen.
The Beatles had it right when they sang about the Magical Mystery Tour. There's nothing like playing songs which are connected to each other to see where the music takes you. That's exactly what Brian and Lulu will be doing. New for 2022, they'll start with a song, and either Brian or Lulu will need to find another one which is connected to it. Can they do it, and in four hours can the trail lead them back to where they began? Join them both as they follow the music trail.
6 PM. Charts From the Past with Tommy Vance.
Tommy takes us back to 1983. Enjoy songs from UB40, Billy Joel, George Benson, and Men Without Hats.

Thursday 29 December.
2 PM. The Free Electric Band with Lulu Hartgen.
We wouldn't have enjoyed the variety of pop music over the years if it had not been for the inventions of the electric guitar and synthesiser. Lulu Hartgen presents the Free Electric Band, a celebration of everything electric and electronic which took the world by storm from the 50's through to the 80's and beyond; everything from the Moogue and the Fairlight through to the Fender Stratocaster and the Van Halen Frankenstein, not forgetting the Melotron and the Ceromin.
6 PM. 80's One Hit Wonders with Gary King.
In music, sometimes the star that burns twice as bright burns twice as quickly. Gary will celebrate those artists who only had one big hit during the 80's decade.
8 PM. Three is a Crowd with Brian Hartgen.
A special holiday edition of our show three is a crowd, playing the songs that reached number three on the UK singles chart.
Friday 30 December.
10 AM. Charts From the Past with Bruno Brookes.
Bruno counts down a chart from 1986. Hear songs from Madonna, the Pet Shop Boys, Five Star and the Bangles.
12 PM. A Magic Carpet Ride with Lulu Hartgen.
Do you remember our show a Magic Carpet Ride? Climb on to the carpet and sail into an endless diamond sky with Lulu for a holiday special, featuring the songs which have been voted as the very best from animated movies.
2 PM. Novelty Value with Brian Hartgen.
Especially at this time of year, people love those novelty songs. Give yourself a chuckle with some of the best novelty songs on the planet, some of which you may not have heard before.
4 PM. The One and Only with Brian and Lulu Hartgen.
A One Hit Wonder is a song by a group or artist who have only had one hit in the top 40 of the UK singles chart. Brian and Lulu take you through some of the very best. Hear about that Japanese Boy, count those Red Balloons, or take a drink of Black Velvet.
7 PM. Welcome to the Weekend with Brian Dalton.
Brian D hosts Welcome to the Weekend with feel-good music and friendly banter as only he can give.
9 PM. The Music Machine with Brian Hartgen.
This is a special holiday edition of the Music Machine as we get ready for the new year.
Saturday 31 December.
1 PM. Airplay40 Chart of the Year with Spencer James.
The suspense is mounting! Who will take that coveted number one slot?
4 PM. Review of the Year with Brian Dalton.
Brian D celebrates the best music in his review of 2022. He'll tell you about the most successful groups and artists as only he can, and, he'll remember some of the Team-FM Top Tunes too. Hear from artists such as George Ezra, Sam Ryder, Ed Sheeren, Ella Henderson and Ava Max.
6 PM. The Team-FM New Year Party With Brian and Lulu Hartgen.
The stage is set, the party is here. it's the new year all night extravaganza on team-fm, the biggest, the loudest, the craziest party ever. helping you to see out 2022 and to bring you into 2023. And the party goes on from 6 PM through to 6 in the morning! Brian and Lulu look forward to playing those party hits to get you up on your feet from the 60's through to today. They even have the chimes at midnight and those fireworks too!

Sunday 1 January.
10 AM. Champagne Sunday With Brian and Lulu Hartgen.
Brian and Lulu love their oldies. They also love their champagne! They will play music from the 50's and 60's in the sunday gold segment, and the 70's and 80's in the second part of the show. For the 70's and 80's they'll have the memories, the events, the TV and we'll see how Lulu gets on in our game Carry On singing!
5 PM. Charts From the Past With Alan Freeman.
Alan takes you back to 1968. Hear songs from Tom Jones, The Beatles and the Four Tops.
7 PM. Junior Choice with Brian and Lulu Hartgen.
Now in its 11th year, through songs, archive recordings and their own memories, Brian and Lulu celebrate the best radio show for children to come out of britain which is still remembered even today.
