A Tribute to Bobby Vee, we loved him more than we can say.

Hi everyone

We cannot remember another year where so many well-known celebrities and stars have passed away, which has been the case during 2016. this week, another of our rock and pop legends has gone.

Bobby Vee had everything: a 'cute' look, youthful appeal, and he made good pop records.
he undoubtedly was a teen idol in the early 1960s. According to Billboard magazine, he had thirty-eight Hot 100 chart hits, ten of which reached the Top 20.[
he had 10 chart hits in the UK beginning in 1961.

The Music Machine, Making the Most of the Music that Matters!

Hi everyone

I hope you will be able to join me for the Music Machine on Saturday at 7 PM UK time, 2 PM Eastern, 2 hours of great music spanning the decades.

Last week I started a small series looking at some of the memorable compilation albums previously released. I focused on Hits 7. This time, It is Chart Explosions containing hits from the very early 80's.

In the Vinyl Countdown, we have a single which reached number 3 in December 1981.

Paying Tribute to Rod Temperton in the Music Machine.

Hi everyone

After our novelty special of last week, I'm back with a regular show, the Music Machine, Saturday at 2 PM Eastern time, 7 PM UK.

In hour 1, anything goes, but I do have the usual features including:
The Vinyl Countdown, where I play a song straight from my record collection. This week we go back to 1967.
In Not Now, I'm Listening, we hear a song which surprisingly was not released as a single in the UK or Ireland. When you hear it, you'll think, "Are you sure about that?" I am.

It's a Novelty Fun-Fest on the Music Machine!

Hi everyone

Annually on the Music Machine, we have some special shows, such as the World's Worst Records, the Disney special, and others. They will be happening this year, but we start with our Novelty Songs show, 2 hours of the world's finest funny, amusing, witty songs you can imagine.

"It's going to be played on the radio, so we'd better change it."

Hi everyone

I hope you can join me tomorrow on Team-FM for the Music Machine! On the team, we're passionate about music, and the Music Machine is a perfect way to tell you about the songs being played.

In hour 1, anything goes, but I do have the usual features.
In the Vinyl Countdown, where I play a song from my record collection, we have a B side this time from 1967. But it's a good one!
In "Not Now, I'm Listening", if you like thriller books, we have the perfect story for you.

Cass Elliot Celebrated in Our Time.

Hi everyone

Our show which celebrates music of the 60's and 70's is a little different this week.

We will have the music history and the featured year in hour 1, focusing on 1972 this time.

In hour 2 however, we celebrate the music of Cass Elliot. Had she lived, it would have been her birthday tomorrow, but she died sadly in July 1974.

The Music Machine is a Figure of Speech.

Hi everyone

I'd love it if you could join me tomorrow for the Music Machine on Team-FM, 7 PM in the UK, 2 PM Eastern.

In hour 1, I have a good range of music, we had quite a few requests last week, and if you'd like to choose something, feel free!
In the Vinyl Countdown, where I play a song from my record collection, we'll hear a mono version of a 60's hit we play a lot on Team-FM, but usually you hear it in stereo. It's elusive, but we should be able to find it! There's a clue.
There's also our feature, Not Now, I'm Listening.

The Music Machine, You came along when everything was wrong and put a song in my heart.

Hi to everyone

After you're Totally 80's and Bear's Lair fix, I hope you can join me, Brian Hartgen, on Saturday at 7 PM UK time, 2 PM Eastern for the Music Machine.

In hour 1 I have the regular mix of good music spanning the decades, your requests if you send them in, and the usual features.
In the Vinyl Countdown, we have one of my singles from the 1970's.
In Not Now, I'm Listening, it's a complete contrast. Unusually for this show, it's a song from just last year, 2015. It's definitely a story with a twist in the tale. It is not what you would expect!
