Cass Elliot Celebrated in Our Time.

Our show which celebrates music of the 60's and 70's is a little different this week.

We will have the music history and the featured year in hour 1, focusing on 1972 this time.

In hour 2 however, we celebrate the music of Cass Elliot. Had she lived, it would have been her birthday tomorrow, but she died sadly in July 1974.

Through words and music, you will hear about the songs she performed with the Mamas and the Papas, and her own solo career. You will also hear an extract from a TV interview she took part in 14 days before her death. But there's fun as well, as there are some lighthearted studio outtakes to enjoy.
