Welcome to the Weekend, We Will Have A Good Time

Hi everyone. Have you had a busy week? Trying to beat the Clock to meet those deadlines? Have you had about ten people all looking for your attention at the same time? All of which just fills your head and body with stress. No matter what type of week you’ve had, on Friday at 7 PM in Ireland and the UK, that’s 2 PM Eastern, it will be time for me, Brian D, to welcome you to the Weekend. I’ll have 2 hours of feel good music, blended with friendly banter to wipe away all that stress, and if you can join me, I promise to give you a good time.

I will have features for you to enjoy and participate in if you wish such as:
• Kick-Start. The track that sets the pace for the weekend ahead. We’ll turn the Clock back to 2012, and hear an upbeat tune that lives up to my promise.
• The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. You’ll hear 3 versions of the same song, performed by 3 artists. You are welcome to tell me which is Good, Bad or Ugly. It could be a close call with this one, but you may have a different view.
• Weekend Rewind. Taking you back to good things that you did at the weekend in times gone by. Olympic fever is in the air this weekend. Sports stars participating on a global stage to a global audience. This time, I’ll rewind you back to different global events that you remember with music and stories. It could be a Sporting or Music event, the release of a particular Book or Album or something that had significance the world over. The Olympics from a particular year, the World Cup or Live Aid are good examples of our Weekend Rewind this time.
• The One That Got Away. A track that is not often heard on Radio. In 1984, 2 gentlemen got together and had a hit in both the US and UK, that will have you doing a particular type of dancing.

If you’d like to interact with me before, or during the show, you are welcome to get in touch, and I’d love to hear from you. To request a tune that makes you feel good, to participate in any of our features or simply to say hi, it’s very easy. You can:
