To Welcome the Weekend, I'll be there for you!

Hi everyone. After a long and busy week, I look forward to bringing it to a close today at 7PM in Ireland and the UK, that’s 2PM Eastern. On Team Fm, the station where great music really does matter. I’ll be there to Welcome you to the Weekend, with 2 hours of the best in feel-good music and friendly banter to get your Weekend on track.
The show is feature filled too:
• Kick-Start-Track. It’s the track that sets the pace for the Weekend. We’ll begin with a tune released in 1995, from a very popular American TV series.
• 1 at the Weekend. We’ll hear 3 well-known number 1 singles from 3 different decades, that were at the top on this Weekend in, 2006, 1994 and 1984, in the same country, but which one?
• Singled out. In the days when music wasn’t available on demand, Was There a single you really wanted, and the only way you could get it was to save your pennies to buy it. I’ll play a Single from a popular movie, I bought in 1985.
• The Friday Disco. In this segment of the show, we’ll relive those Disco Days from the 1970s and 80’s, when this genre of music was at its peak worldwide.
• Top of the Past. We’ll remind ourselves of a Top notch music release, that was a Top Tune from the past.
• Team Fm Top Tune. This must be a top-notch new release, it has to be better than all the rest, to carry this honour for the next seven days. You’ll hear it for the first time on the station where great music matters today.
