Spice up your Weekend!

Hi everyone. I hope your week was a good one. No matter whether it was good or bad, I’ll bring it to an end today at 7PM in Ireland and the UK, that’s 2PM Eastern. I’ll be live from Dublin town, on the east coast of Ireland on Team Fm, the station where great music really does matter, to spice up your Weekend, by playing 2 hours of the hottest feel-good tunes around, with lots of friendly banter too. There are 2 well known artists performing live in Ireland too this weekend, and we’ll hear from both of them today.

Not only that, but I’ve got lots of features including:
• Kick-Start-Track. It’s the track that sets the pace for the Weekend. We’ll begin with a tune released in 1997 that is sure to get your Weekend on track.
• 1 at the Weekend. We’ll hear 3 well-known number 1 singles from 3 different decades, that were at the top on this Weekend in 2002, 1993 and 1981, but in which country?
• Singled out. In the days when music wasn’t available on demand, Was There a single you really wanted, and the only way you could get it was to save your pennies to buy it. I’ll play a Single I bought in 1980.
• The Friday Disco. In this segment of the show, we’ll relive those Disco Days from the 1970s and 80’s, when this genre of music was at its peak worldwide.
• Team Fm Top Tune. This must be a top-notch new release, it has to be better than all the rest, to carry this honour for the next seven days. You’ll hear it for the first time on the station where great music matters today.
• Top of the Past. We’ve been doing the Team Fm Top Tune since the start of 2017. In this feature we’ll remind ourselves of all those top-notch new releases we’ve heard since then.
