I Love the Weekend!

Hi everyone. At the end of the working week, there is nothing better than the Weekend to look forward too. In fact, I love everything that the two days of freedom brings. No alarm, no work and no stress. Today at 7PM in Ireland and the UK, or 2PM eastern, I look forward to starting the weekend off with you, on the station where great music matters. I’ll have 2 hours of feel good music and friendly banter, the perfect way to welcome you to the Weekend.

The following features will be here too:
• Kick-Start-Track. It’s the track that sets the pace for the Weekend. We’ll begin with a hit from 1984, by a gentleman from Canada.
• 1 at the Weekend. We’ll hear 3 well-known number 1 singles from 3 different decades, that were at the top on this Weekend in, 2009, 1999 and 1986, but in which country?

• The Friday Disco. In this segment of the show, we’ll relive those Disco Days from the 1970s and 80’s, when this genre of music was at its peak worldwide. A place where love was in the air.
• Brian D’s Hot Pick. What new release grabbed my attention over the last 7 days? You’ll have to tune in to see.
• Team Fm Top Tune. This top-notch new release is better than all the rest, and you can hear it for the first time today, on the station where great music really does matter.
