Welcome to the Weekend! we'll Paint the Town Green!
Hi everyone. Today at 7PM in Ireland and the UK, or 3PM Eastern, I’d love it if you would allow me, Brian D, to give you a warm Irish Welcome to a long Weekend. Broadcasting from Dublin Town in Ireland, I have 2 hours of feel good music, and as we say the craic will be 90 too. The perfect way to get your Weekend off on the right track. It’s no ordinary Weekend though! It’s the only one of the year when the whole world goes Green for St. Patrick.
Our usual features will show up too:
• Kick-start. Setting the pace for the Weekend ahead. We’ll begin with an Irish band, who will Paint the town Green, just for the occasion of course.
• The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. You’ll hear 3 versions of the same song, by 3 different artists. You can tell me if you’d like too, which one is Good, Bad or Ugly.
• Weekend Rewind. Taking you back to good things that you did in times gone by, through memories and music. Were there any artists you became totally hooked on after you heard their debut Single? Was that the one that had you buying all their records? Even though their hits would be included on their albums, because you were so dedicated to their music? There certainly were many artists who fitted into this category for me, that remind me of good times in life too. I’ll tell you some that had me captured from the beginning and invite you to tell me any you had too.
• The Team Fm Top Tune. There are several tracks released each week, but the Top Tune has to be top notch. Better than all the rest, you’ll hear it for the first time on Team Fm today.
