Keep on Movin' towards the Weekend

Hi everyone. After a long and busy week, we are well and truly movin’ towards the Weekend now, it’s coming closer. It will land on Friday at 7PM in Ireland and the UK, or 2PM eastern if you live on the East Coast of America. When it lands, Brian D will be on the station where great music matters, live from Dublin Town in Ireland, to warmly welcome you to the Weekend. 2 hours of feel good music and friendly banter will start your Weekend off on the right track. features included will be:
• Kick-start. Setting the pace for the Weekend ahead. We’ll begin with a British Boy Band, who debuted at number 1 in the UK in 1999.
• The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. You’ll hear 3 versions of the same song, by 3 different artists. You can tell me if you’d like too, which one is Good, Bad or Ugly.
• Weekend Rewind. Taking you back to good things that you did in times gone by, through memories and music. In the UK, the Brit Awards have just taken place during the week. In the 1980’s and 90’s, I was very excited to see which artist would scoop one of these prestigious awards. Would my favourite Single or Album be a winner? I would tune in on the TV to find out. Did this ceremony bring back memories for you as a music fan? If it did, you are welcome to share them with me, along with tunes that remind you of this event.
• The Team Fm Top Tune. There are a number of tracks released each week, but the Top Tune has to be top notch. Better than all the rest, because you’ll be encouraged to crank up the volume just before you hear it. You can hear this week’s one for the first time on Team Fm during the show.
