Becoming a Presenter on Team-FM.
We often receive enquiries about becoming a presenter on Team-FM. If you would be interested in hosting a show on the station, we would love to hear from you. We are always looking for new content!
As you will see from our Programme Schedule, we are interested in hosting a variety of shows of music genres on Team-FM. So it is possible you have an idea for a show in which we would be interested. However, what the listener hears in terms of quality and presentation style are the most important considerations.
If you tune into our station when shows are on the air, you will notice that the technical standard and presentation are both extremely high. Voice breaks are kept as tight and to the point as possible, while imparting useful information about the music or engaging with the listening audience.
We have a mix of show presentation formats: some where listener interaction plays an important role and others where that does not apply but which nevertheless are fun and engaging. Just because a show is pre-recorded and where listeners cannot participate live does not make for a poor quality show.
If you charge a fee for your services, it is likely that can be provided. Many of our shows are licensed in this way. Please do not hesitate to advise us of that if appropriate.
If you would like to host a show on Team-FM, please listen to our station output. You have to ask yourself if you could deliver a show of the same presentation and technical standard as adopted by the other presenters?
Can you deliver the show at least once per week for the vast majority of all weeks in a year?
Can you read a script of interesting information fluently with minimal stumbling?
If you can answer Yes to all of the above, we would be happy to hear from you. Opportunities are available for live broadcasting, voice-tracking or high quality pre-recorded shows. For pre-recorded programmes, while we fully comply with legal requirements to log each song played, you do not need to provide a list of that information. We have technology which can handle that.
If you feel you would like to host a show on Team-FM, please send details of your broadcasting experience and information about a potential show to support@team-fm.com.
We look forward to hearing from you!
