Changing Times!
Hi to All
You will remember back in March when lockdown in the UK began, we introduced some extra shows to lift the spirits of everyone. While we've received a tremendous amount of positive feedback about these, we confirmed that they would only be in place for several weeks. In fact they've been on air every week for close to six months. We hope you have enjoyed them.
The time has come however to make some changes and say goodbye to some shows, at least for the moment in the current series. We do apologise for this. So, here are the changes.
Down for Double has ended its current run, as has Three Is a Crowd and Planet Party.
It Must Be Upbeat Love with Lulu Hartgen is continuing, and will be in its new time slots of Friday at 9 PM and Saturday at 5 PM.
All shows on a Sunday will continue as usual. However, at 7 PM, we have a new show, Thanks for the Memory.
Remember the times when Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Rogers & Hart and other great songwriters ruled the roost? When we had bands like Glenn Miller, Harry James, Duke Ellington and so many more? Thanks for the memory will take you right back to those days. Brian and Lulu will introduce two hours of friendly, informative chat, fun, and the most wonderful music you could ever want. It's a show to remember!
David Hamilton, who has just celebrated his birthday, will be on hand at 9 PM to celebrate those Million Sellers. Again, the 80's Express has come to the end of its current run.
We hope you will continue to enjoy our shows. We receive a great deal of feedback week by week which is overwhelmingly positive, and we're so pleased you enjoy what we have to offer. All the details of the shows will be on our Schedule page next week.
Have a wonderful Weekend!
