Team-FM Gets A Shake-Up for Sundays!

Hi everyone

As you know, Sunday has always been Retro Day on Team-FM, playing music from the 50's through to the 80's. This is not changing as we know a lot of people enjoy it. But a number of the shows have been with us now for close to three years and so we're introducing some new content to you and moving times of some programmes. This begins on Sunday 24 February.

In shaking up the schedule, we're delighted to welcome two broadcasters to Team-FM who you may not have heard before. We always strive to bring you top quality entertainment, from people who know about their music and where the speech delivery is superb. You'll not be disappointed.

Here's how the line-up looks. All times relate to the UK, but as of next week you will be able to see the schedule in your own local timezone on our website as you always have.

10 AM: Sunday Gold with Brian Hartgen. Celebrating the music of the 50's and 60's!

12 PM: The Retro Chart Show with Dave Mac.

Bringing back those days where you sat by your radio on a Sunday afternoon to hear the latest hits in the UK Charts, Dave relives them by playing the hits from the UK charts on this day in history from the 60’s to the 90’s with loads of trivia about the songs thrown in for good measure. Dave loves unearthing tracks that haven’t been played on the radio for years, so your guaranteed to hear something fresh and different every week.

Dave has been in the entertainment business for over 20 years and has worked extensively as a presenter in Scottish commercial radio for most of them. He is a self confessed chart geek with an extensive music library of vinyl and CD’s that you can hear him play on the Retro Chart Show. He’s a handy man to have on your pub quiz team as well as there’s hardly a random fact about music he doesn’t know!

2 PM: Greatest Hits USA with Chuck Taylor.

While the intro starts off with a bang, what’s inside this 3 hour show is what keeps you to the very end. Greatest Hits USA takes you through the past, with the music of the 60‘s 70‘s & beyond. Plus the fun stuff such as News from the Past, the Birthday Bunch & your Requests too!

Chuck Taylor hails from Westbury, New York and developed an affinity for radio in High School.  Chuck had his first on the air experience at CW Post College which rapidly evolved into his successful radio career. Chuck has been a radio entertainer at various radio stations throughout America, but he is best known for his time at WGBB on Long Island and most recently as morning host at WYJB in Albany, New York. At WYJB, Chuck hosted the morning show for over 17 years. Now, Chuck Taylor’s radio passion continues to shine as host of Greatest Hits USA!

5 PM: Our Time with Brian Hartgen. As always, Brian celebrates the music of the 60's and 70's, but you'll hear some format changes as we go through the weeks. There will also be "Special Shows", such as our 70's Love Songs special this Sunday.

7 PM: David Hamilton continues to present the Million Sellers from both sides of the Atlantic.

9 PM: Climb aboard the fast train with Lulu in the 80's Express. An hour of gems from the 80's decade will come your way, all mixed together with commercials from the time, memorable TV and we'll take you to the movies too. And we mustn't forget 80's Express In the Mix at 9.30 PM every week!

10 PM: Alec Nicol once again takes us back to the days when vinyl was king in those Vinyl Days.

We hope you enjoy our new Sunday Lineup for Retro Day, right here on the station where great music matters!
