A Change for Sunday Afternoons.

Hi to everyone

We're so glad you have been enjoying our show the Docking Station, where we've had two music-based documentaries back to back. We are the station where great music matters, and we believe this means learning about our music history as well as listening to the songs.

In the 4 PM time slot especially, we've had some short and some lengthy documentaries, including those relating to the Motown label, Elvis Presley, Madonna, Stevie Wonder, Carpenters, Neil Diamond, Fleetwood Mac, the Beatles and so many more.

The series "The Rock of Your Life" has now come to an end in the 3 PM time slot, but we have one part of the "Eagles Story" still to run. Therefore, this Sunday 7 October, we will repeat the final part of the "Rock of Your Life" at 3, and conclude the Eagles Story at 4. This will make it possible for us to move to something new on 14 October.

At 3 PM on 14 October, we will begin another new perspective on the History of Rock and Roll. This is the version originally made in 1978 in 52 parts. In our view this is the most comprehensive version of the History of Rock and Roll, containing first-class narration and interviews with the stars, which we hope you enjoy. While you may have heard this on one or two other internet radio stations in the past, we know that some of the episodes in that series were of a poor audio quality. At Team-FM, we now have all the original records in this series, so we're able to ensure that the audio reproduction is as good as it can be.
If you haven't heard this before, we know you're going to love it.

In the 4 PM time slot, we will begin a new show if you love music of the 80's. We really think people are going to love what we have planned, as you often tell us you thoroughly enjoy music from that decade. Next week, we'll tell you about this new show in detail. Do look out for it!

We will always continue to have a music documentary in the 3 PM time slot as there is plenty of material for that to come over the years and we hope you will enjoy our new 80's show too, right before Our Time, celebrating the 60's and 70's!
