Sunday Gold and Our Time Shows.

Hi everyone and happy Saturday!

Please join me on Sunday morning at 10 AM for Sunday Gold. Whether you are snuggling in bed and reading the papers or preparing the Sunday roast, you can hear some golden oldies from the 50's and 60's. While every week I play songs from each decade to provide a good balance, I take turns to focus on each of them. This week it's the 1950's.

When we talk about the 50's, we're not just talking about Rock 'N Roll. Take a trip to a time when the pace of life was slower, when orchestrations were lush and when singers really poured their hearts out! It's because of these songs from the 50's especially that this is becoming a popular show despite its early hour. People tell us they especially love the rare recordings on 78 record and those B sides, all from the UK singles chart. We have more of those this week.
Feel free to request a song during the show. If it's from the 50's and 60's, we're bound to have it, so request away!

Our Time is our show focusing upon the 60's and 70's, every Sunday at 5 PM. Because in the very near future we're going to have another novelty special, we're replaying this week the one from last June. When I produce them, these novelty shows are from artists you wouldn't usually expect to hear, such as Norman Wisdom, Bruce Forsyth, Jan and Kelly, Leslie Philips, Kenny & Cash and so many more. As I say, a bundle of records have been found to make another show worthwhile and it is in your future.
