Yay for the Weekend!

Hi everyone. After a long and busy week, I’d love to put it to bed today, and Welcome the Weekend that lies ahead. I’d love it if you could do the same, with me, Brian D, at 7PM in Ireland and the UK, or 2PM Eastern. On the station where great music matters, I’ll have 2 hours of the hottest feel good tunes around, mixed with lots of friendly banter too.

Not only that, but I’ve got lots of features including:
• Kick-Start-Track. It’s the track that sets the pace for the Weekend. We’ll begin with a tune released in 2010, that will wipe away the week, and get your ready for the Weekend.
• 1 at the Weekend. We’ll hear 3 well-known number 1 singles from 3 different decades, that were at the top on this Weekend in 2006, 1991 and 1980, but in which country?
• Singled out. In the days when music wasn’t available on demand, Was There a single you really wanted, and the only way you could get it was to save your pennies to buy it. I’ll play a Single I bought in 1983.
• The Friday Disco. In this segment of the show, we’ll relive those Disco Days from the 1970s and 80’s, when this genre of music was at its peak worldwide.
• Team Fm Top Tune. This must be a top-notch new release, it has to be better than all the rest, to carry this honour for the next seven days. You’ll hear it for the first time on the station where great music matters today.
• Top of the Past. We’ve been doing the Team Fm Top Tune since the start of 2017. In this feature we’ll remind ourselves of all those top-notch new releases we’ve heard since then.
