Hi everyone. No matter whether you’ve had a long or short, busy or quiet week, the Weekend is always Welcome. Today at 7PM in Ireland and the UK, or 2PM Eastern, I look forward to getting your Weekend off on the right track. If you can join me, Brian D, I promise to fill your ears with a file selection of feel good music, on the station where great music matters. Not only that, but I’ll have lots of friendly banter too.

I’ve got lots of features including:
• Kick-Start-Track. It’s the track that sets the pace for the Weekend. We’ll begin with a tune released in October 2010, that encourages you to be who you are.
• 1 at the Weekend. We’ll hear 3 well-known number 1 singles from 3 different decades, that were at the top on this Weekend in 2012, 2007 and 1988, but in which country?
• Singled out. In the days when music wasn’t available on demand, Was There a single you really wanted, and the only way you could get it was to save your pennies to buy it. I’ll play a Single I bought in 1987.
• The Friday Disco. In this segment of the show, we’ll relive those Disco Days from the 1970s and 80’s, when this genre of music was at its peak worldwide.
• Team Fm Top Tune. This must be a top-notch new release, to deserve this honour. I’m afraid there simply wasn’t a new release this week that was good enough to be a Top Tune. We’ve had some really good ones this year, I’ll play my favourite one so far.
