Welcome to the Weekend Everyone

Hi everyone. On Friday, at 7 PM in Ireland and the UK, that’s 2 PM Eastern, it will be my pleasure to close out your busy working week and Welcome You to the Weekend. Broadcasting live from Dublin Town on the East Coast of Ireland, I’ll play 2 hours of feel good music, blended with lots of friendly banter, to set you up for the Weekend ahead.

I’ve got features for you to enjoy such as:
• Kick-Start. The track that sets the pace for the weekend ahead. We’ll begin with a lady from California. Known for her contemporary Christian music, she is sure to get us off on the right track, with a Team Fm Top Tune.
• The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. You’ll hear 3 versions of the same song, performed in a different way by all 3 artists. You are welcome to tell me which is Good, Bad or Ugly.
• Weekend Rewind. Taking you back to good things you did at the weekend in times gone by. The Summer of 1982 was a particularly good one for me. We’ll hear some tunes from then, and I’ll share some good memories with you.
• The One That Got Away. A track that is not often heard on Radio. On July 12th 1979, we lost Minnie Riperton through Cancer. This time by request, we’ll hear a track from her 1974 album Perfect Angel, released in 1974, that I have never heard on the Radio.
