The 60's and 70's Show Our Time Gets All Loved Up and a Format Change!
Hi everyone
As you may have heard, our Sundays are getting a good shake up, and so is our show, Our Time, which has always celebrated the music of the 60's and 70's.
This coming Sunday before the changes, it's our 70's love songs show. The 70's was a decade that produced some of the finest singles and album tracks which were love songs. If you feel in any way romantic, join me to hear the songs you know well and perhaps those you do not. I'll also tell you about some of them too.
Next Sunday, Our Time's format changes. One or two of the features will still be there, such as the A to Z of the 70's, where I play songs starting with a particular letter and tell you about them. But you'll also notice:
Lots more songs from the 60's and 70's which do not fall into a special theme.
That was the week that was. Looking at the past week's musical events from years gone by but with a heavy emphasis on Britain and Ireland.
It should have been a bigger hit. A song which did not chart particularly high (or at all) in Britain but is absolutely outstanding. We'll have one in each hour. Let me know if I'm right.
And, and, the Our Time Show Stopper. The Team-FM Top Tune of its day. If we had been around in the 60's and 70's, what would we have had as a top tune of the week? I'll always end with one which is awesome. Suggestions for the perfect 60's and 70's song to end on would be welcome!
All of that will be mixed together with those jingles that you recall from the 60's and 70's too!
The show is called Our Time because together, we remember those great times of the 60's and 70's. Join me every week for it at 5 PM UK each Sunday! And remember, Our Time is always a good time!
