Let the Weekend Begin!

Hi everybody. At 7PM in Ireland and the UK or 2PM Eastern today, it will be time to bring the working week to an end, and let your Weekend begin. On Team Fm, where great music is a must, I’ll have 2 hours of feel good music. Not only that, but I’ll mix it with lots of warm and friendly banter too. A great way to welcome you to the Weekend. The show will be feature filled:
• Kick-Start-Track. It’s the track that sets the pace for the Weekend. Beginning with a great tune released last year, that’s perfect if you’ve just got paid today.
• 1 at the Weekend. We’ll hear 3 well-known number 1 singles from 3 different decades, that were at the top on this Weekend in, 2013, 2005 and 1986, but in which country?
• Singled out. In the days when music wasn’t available on demand, Was There a single you really wanted, and the only way you could get it was to save your pennies to buy it. I’ll play a Single I saved for in 1984, that was released the previous year.
• The Friday Disco. In this segment of the show, we’ll relive those Disco Days from the 1970s and 80’s, when this genre of music was at its peak worldwide.
• Brian D’s Hot Pick. What new release grabbed my attention over the last 7 days? You’ll have to tune in to see.
• Team Fm Top Tune. This top notch new release is better than all the rest, and you can hear it for the first time today, on the station where great music really does matter.
