Welcome to the Weekend, Let's do it again!
Hi everyone. Last weekend I promised you I’d be back with you same time same place. On Friday at 7PM in Ireland and the UK, or 2PM Eastern, to welcome you to the Weekend once again. Well, I’m a man of my word, so I’ll be here, and I’m very much looking forward to it. The place to find me, Brian D, is Team Fm, and it’s where great music matters. Speaking of music, I’ll have 2 hours of the hottest feel good tunes around, with lots of friendly banter too, a great way to begin your weekend.
The show will be feature filled:
• Kick-Start-Track. It’s the track that sets the pace for the Weekend. Beginning with a track released in 2014, from a gentleman who began by performing covers of songs in his bedroom, on his Youtube Channel.
• 1 at the Weekend. We’ll hear 3 well-known number 1 singles from 3 different decades, that were at the top on this Weekend in, 2000, 1991 and 1983, but in which country.
• Singled out. In the days when music wasn’t available on demand, Was There a single you really wanted, and the only way you could get it was to save your pennies to buy it. I’ll play one I baught in 1987.
• The Friday Disco. In this segment of the show, we’ll relive those Disco Days from the 1970s and 80’s, when this genre of music was at its peak worldwide.
• Brian D’s Hot Pick of the Week. A new release that grabbed my ears over the last 7 days. What will it be? You’ll have to tune in to see.
• The Team Fm Top Tune. We’ll hear a top-notch new release, that’s simply the best, for the very first time on Team Fm.
If all that is not enough, I’ll even play some tunes from Now 101, that’s just been released today.
