Climb Aboard the 80's Express with Lulu, A New Show Starting Sunday 4 PM!

What do you remember about the 1980's? The decade was famous for the launch of cable TV, Pac-Man, Rubik's Cube, Space Shuttle Columbia, and momentus sporting achievements. In TV, you'll perhaps remember the Blockbusters quiz show, Neighbours, the launch of Eastenders and of course there was Dallas. And who could forget movies such as Dirty Dancing, E.T., Top Gun and War Games. You can relive them all, together with some of the best music ever made, each week in the 80's Express!

Climb aboard the fast train back to the decade of big hair, padded shoulders, scents which could knock you dead from a hundred yards away and, of course, fantastic music! This hour of non stop tunes mixed with news, trailers, commercials, movies and other special features will bring the decade of decadence right back to life for you. All the songs are top-notch which you are bound to sing along to so turn up that volume!

Each week, we'll have "The 80's Express In the Mix". The 80's was a decade known for its 12 inch singles, so it could be one of those which you hear. But it also could be an alternative mix from an album of the time. Do you remember LP's on the Street Sounds label with those awesome mixes? What about disco mixes from DMC? Maybe Lulu, your hostess, will play one of those. But often, it will be a special Team-FM 80's megamix.

This is not a show programmed at random by a computer. Each edition of the 80's Express has been carefully mixed together to recapture the 80's decade which brought us so many things including new inventions, memorable TV, movies and the music. There's so much to relive from the 80's that we're sure this will be a show which will run for years to come.
