The Music Machine! I'm Getting Married in the Morning!

Hi everyone

It's a right royal 80's party on the Music Machine this Saturday at 7 PM UK time which is 2 PM US Eastern! Join me if you can!

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are due to marry on Saturday, and there is a lot of international interest. They were both born in the 80's: Meghan in August 1981 and Prince Harry in September 1984. So it's a good excuse to have an all 80's party!

In Golden Years, (celebrating particular weeks through music, movie clips and TV), we'll focus on their dates of birth and recapture the memories of those times, including hearing about one of the first Sony video recorders and some of the big films of the day!
And we mustn't forget that Meghan is American, so we'll have a look at the Billboard chart too.

In the Vinyl Countdown, playing a song from my record collection, we'll be doing the Safety Dance!
