It's a Blast From the Past Weekend! Remember the Bear's Lair?

Unfortunately two of our show presenters cannot be with us this weekend, so we're taking the chance to go back five years and have a listen to how Team-FM sounded during the year 2013!
Things were very different back then, and we've had some difficulty in finding shows which we think meet our broadcasting standards of today. But we have found three which we hope you will enjoy and provide you with great entertainment this weekend.
On Saturday at 7 PM, Brian Hartgen hosts the Music Machine, songs which tell stories. What did he say about that show at the time? Well it wasn't exactly jaw-dropping, but lets see:
"Many modern songs, although not all, repeat the same lines over and over. But in this show, we’re looking for songs which tell complete stories in the lyrics. I’ll have everything from novelty through to pop and of course country, because the country singers are the masters of storytelling. But there are plenty of story songs in other musical genres too."
Brian also invited listeners to send in requests. The songs in this show are excellent and wide-ranging, from artists such as Andrew Gold, Planxty, and ABBA!
The Bear is Back in the Lair! One of the popular Saturday afternoon shows in 2013 was the Bear's Lair. Lulu would invite you to sit on the big squashy sofa, Bert the Leprechaun would pour you a drink and you'd hear fantastic music and Lulu's own brand of lively chatter. You can enjoy it again at 9 PM UK time Saturday.
Taylor Swift was new on the block with her song "22", You'll also hear from the Pointer Sisters, Mandisa, Kelly Clarkson, E L O, Paul Simon and New Musik! Really great songs for a Saturday night! And we mustn't forget the closing song was always "Shut Up and Let Me Go"! We don't want you to go anywhere. Just live in the past.
On Sunday at 5 PM, another chance to hear Brian Hartgen in the Music Machine. In the best traditions of Our Time, the show usually in this time slot, Brian plays songs from the 60's and you'll hear memories from people who were there at the time. Artists include The Four Seasons, Cliff Richard, Brenda Lee and and the Everlys. If you're a fan of our Sunday Gold show, you'll enjoy this one.
