Many radio programmes have told the story of the Beatles in many different ways. Starting with the 1972 original BBC documentary produced by Johnny Beerling, "The Beatles Story", anyone interested in this subject will know it fairly well.

However, "The Beatles - From Liverpool to Legend" is a masterpiece of excellent storytelling, coupled with first-class music illustration, not just from the group but also other songs which set the scene for the period being discussed. It very much reminds us of the iconic documentary series "The Evolution of Rock".

What makes this documentary even more interesting, and sets it apart, is some of the interviews particularly concerning the early days of the group.
While you may have heard other documentaries and reminiscences relating to the Beatles, we encourage you to listen to this one.
