Welcome to the Weekend, I'm so Excited!
Hi everybody. When your welcome to the Weekend comes on Friday, at 7PM in Ireland and the UK, or 2PM Eastern, I’m always excited, and I can’t hide it. I’ll have 2 hours of feel good music and friendly banter, and I hope you’ll like it. The stress of the week will be gone when I play your favourite song. Brian D will be here, to fill your ears with plenty of cheer.
Regular features will be here too:
• Kick-start. Setting the pace for the Weekend ahead. We’ll begin with a track released in 1982 but had a bigger impact when re-released 2 years later.
• The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. 3 versions of the same song, by 3 different artists. Your welcome to tell me which one you think is Good, Bad or Ugly.
• Weekend Rewind. Taking you back to good things that you did in times gone by, through memories and music. Most of us have been to see our favourite band performing live on stage. There’s nothing like the atmosphere that’s created by many popular artists around the world. Do you have memories of a gig you’ve been too? Why does it stand out as being better than all the rest. Today, not only will we hear live and unplugged tracks by popular artists, but I’ll share my memories of my favourite gigs with you and invite you to do the same.
• The Team Fm Top Tune. There are several tracks released each week, but the Top Tune must be top notch. Better than all the rest, and you’ll hear it for the first time on Team Fm today!
If you’d like to contact me now or during the show, it’s easy and I’d love to hear from you. You can:

I look forward to being with you today, on the station where Great Music Matters, right before Pat Sharp comes along to play All the Hits, to keep that Friday feeling going.
