Welcome to a Four Day Weekend!
Hi everyone. It’s only once a year I can say this, Welcome to a Four Day Weekend. For most people, good Friday is regarded as a holiday day, and is the Start of the Easter Weekend. Not only do we get the normal 2 days off work, but Monday is a holiday day too, thank Heavens.
Today at 7PM in Ireland and the UK, that’s 2PM Eastern, I’d love it if you could join me, Brian D, to officially Welcome you to this extra Long Weekend. I’ll have two hours of feel good tunes, with a pile of friendly banter too, to set you up for this Easter Weekend.
All the usual features will be here too:
• Kick-start. Setting the pace for the Weekend ahead. Setting the mood today, will be an American lady who released what became known as her signature song in 1987, with a perfect description for the Weekend that’s in it.
• The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. You’ll hear 3 versions of the same song, by 3 different artists. Today, we’ll be Dancing in the Moonlight.
• Weekend Rewind. Taking you back to good things that you did in times gone by, through memories and music. In the late 1980’s I would rush my lunch every day to catch the TV series Neighbours, before I would have to run back to School. Catching my interest was a female Mechanic, who began making music in 1987, and led the way for many of her colleagues from this popular TV series to produce hit records. Not only were the tunes addictive, but the show had me hooked too for a few years and reminds me of good times. If it did the same for you, your welcome to be in touch.
• The Team Fm Top Tune. There are several tracks released each week, but the Top Tune has to be top notch. Better than all the rest, and you’ll hear it for the first time on Team Fm today!
