Brian D, is the Man behind the Sun!
Hi everyone. After a long and busy week, at 7PM in Ireland and the UK, that’s 2PM Eastern today, if you care to join me, Brian D, I will be the best weather man you’ve seen in a while. I will be the man behind the sun, as I’ll have 2 hours of upbeat tunes in a warm and friendly atmosphere, to Welcome you to the Weekend. I’ll wipe away the clouds of the week that was, and let the Sunshine through for the Weekend ahead.
The usual features will be here too:
• Kick-start. Setting the pace for the Weekend ahead. We’ll hear a track released last year, by an artist from Scotland, with a good vibe to get us on track.
• The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. You’ll hear 3 versions of the same song, by 3 different artists. You can tell me if you’d like too, which one is Good, Bad or Ugly.
• Weekend Rewind. Taking you back to good things that you did in times gone by, through memories and music. Going to the Disco was something I did regularly during the 1970’s and 80’s. A School Disco, one at a proper disco tech and even discos in friends’ houses. They all had significance for me,. And bring back good memories. All influenced by the music at that time of course. In the usual way, I’ll share some tracks and stories that rewind me to that time, and invite you to do the same.
• The Team Fm Top Tune. There are a number of tracks released each week, but the Top Tune has to be top notch. Better than all the rest, because you’ll be encouraged to crank up the volume just before you hear it. You can hear this week’s one for the first time on Team Fm.
