The Music Machine: And the Hits Just Keep On Coming!

Hi everyone

I'm back with another edition of the Music Machine on Saturday at 7 PM in the UK, which is 2 PM US Eastern, if you'd like to tune in. Last week's show was a lively one, lets hope the same is true this time. Plenty of features for you to enjoy.

Compilation albums from the past. This week I have a Various Artists album for you to remember as always. This one is Hits 8.

Vinyl countdown, playing a song from my record collection. In this segment, we learn that people can disappear.

Golden Years, celebrating 15 minutes each hour of a particular year through music, movie clips and TV. On Saturday we welcome 1984 and 1974.

Collectors Corner. This is a new feature, and recalls songs from the past we're very sure you would not have heard on the radio for many many years. I have a stock of these lined up for the coming weeks, some of which have been suggested by listeners. By request on Saturday, we hear a song from a DJ well-known in the North-West of England.

And, of course, the Musical Treasure Hunt. but it's all different this week. Tune into find out more, and, is there a prize at the end? You have to find this week a massive hit from 1981.
