Feel Good Music, where Great Music Matters
Hi everyone. In this part of the world, Dublin Town on the East Coast of Ireland, officially it’s the first Weekend of Spring. Not reflected in the weather, but definitely visible in the feel good hot tunes, along with the warm and friendly banter, that will be on offer to Welcome you to the Weekend today. I’d love it if you would allow me, Brian D, to officially Kick-Start your Weekend, at 7PM in Ireland and the UK, that’s 2PM Eastern on Team Fm.
Our regular features will be here too:
• Kick-start. Setting the pace for the Weekend ahead. We’ll begin by hearing a track released in 1988, by 2 Scottish guys. 30 years later, it sounds as fresh as ever.
• The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. You’ll hear 3 versions of the same song, by 3 different artists. You can tell me if you’d like too, which one is Good, Bad or Ugly.
• Weekend Rewind. Taking you back to good things that you did in times gone by, through memories and music. The BBC TV music chart show Top of the Pops, played a big part for those of us who grew up in the 1970’s, 80’s and the 90’s too. It ran for over 40 years, going through various changes along the way. Bringing back good memories for me and lots of others, this show and its music will be the subject of the Weekend Rewind today. As always, your welcome to share your memories of it with me if you’d like too.
• The Team Fm Top Tune. There are a number of tracks released each week, but the Top Tune has to be top notch. Better than all the rest, because you’ll be encouraged to crank up the volume just before you hear it. You can hear this week’s one for the first time on Team Fm during the show.
