It's All Right, the Weekend is Here

Hi everyone. After a long and busy week, I woke up this morning and thought, It’s All right, the Weekend is here. That means only one thing. At 7PM in Ireland and the UK, or 2PM eastern today, it will be time for me, Brian D to Welcome you to the Weekend. On the station where great music matters, I’ll have 2 hours of feel good tunes, along with warm and friendly banter to get your Weekend started.

All our regular features will be here too:
• Kick-start. Starting as we mean to go on, we’ll hear a track released in the heart of Summer in 1995, that reached number 2 in the UK.
• The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. You’ll hear 3 versions of the same song, by 3 different artists. You can tell me if you’d like too, which one is Good, Bad or Ugly.
• Weekend Rewind. Taking you back to good things that you did in times gone by, through memories and music. Each Sunday for 3 years during the 1980’s, MT-USA would take to our TV screens in Ireland. Presented by Vincent Hanley, or Fab Vinny as he was affectionately known, he would play the latest hits of the day on Video. Innovative TV, that brought back lots of good memories for me. Videos often complimented a song, and aided its chart success. If you have any memorable Videos from the 1980’s, your welcome to share them with me too.
• The Team Fm Top Tune. There are a number of tracks released each week, but the Top Tune has to be top notch. Better than all the rest, because you’ll be encouraged to crank up the volume just before you hear it. You can hear this week’s one for the first time on Team Fm during the show.
