Welcome to the first Weekend of December
Hi everybody. It would be great if you could join me, Brian D, on Team Fm, the station where great Music Matters. Kicking off at 7PM in Ireland and the UK, that’s 2PM Eastern today, I’ll have 2 hours of the finest up beat tunes, along with plenty of friendly banter. The perfect way to get your Weekend, and the month of December on track, as we head towards Christmas. Speaking of Christmas, I’ve an important Party invitation to offer you, and I’ll spill the Beans about it today.
All our regular features will be here too, such as:
• Kick-start. We’ll set the pace for the Weekend ahead, beginning with a Party anthem, originally a hit in 1995, and re-mixed 20 years later, to set the mood.
• The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. You’ll hear 3 versions of the same song, by 3 different artists. You can tell me if you like too, which one is Good, Bad or Ugly.
• Weekend Rewind. Taking you back to good things that you did in times gone by, through memories and music. We all love a good story, or a good yarn, as we say in Dublin. There are many songs that tell a great story, or songs that remind you of one. This will be the subject of our Weekend Rewind today. Songs that tell a good story, or take you back to a good story you heard.
• Team Fm Top Tune of the Week. A large number of Singles are released weekly. However, to carry the honour of being the Team Fm Top Tune of the Week, it has to be top notch, it must be better than the rest. Just before it comes on, you’ll be advised to crank the volume way up because it’s so good. Our choice for this week, will be revealed at some point during the show.
If you’d like to get in touch, you can and I’d love to hear from you. Feel free to contact me in any of the following ways:
