Kick-Starting the Weekend
Hi everyone. At 7PM in Ireland and the UK today, that’s 2PM Eastern, I’d love it if you could join me, Brian D, when we’ll Kick-start the Weekend together. For 2 hours, I’ll play a stack of upbeat tunes, with plenty of banter thrown in, to begin your Weekend on the right track.
All our regular features will be here too, such as:
• Kick-start. We’ll begin with a feel good tune released in 2011, that Billboard Magazine ranked as the 5th best song of all time. A real party anthem.
• The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. You’ll hear 3 versions of the same song, by 3 different artists. You can tell me if you like too, which one is Good, Bad or Ugly.
• Weekend Rewind. Taking you back to good things that you did in times gone by, through memories and music. There were lots of movies released in the 1980’s, some containing great songs. By request today, I’ll rewind you to hits from movies released in the 1980’s. Your welcome to send suggestions for your favourite movie tracks from this decade if you’d like too.
• Team Fm Top Tune of the Week. A large number of Singles are released weekly. However, to carry the honour of being the Team Fm Top Tune of the Week, it has to be top notch, it must be better than the rest. Just before it comes on, you’ll be advised to crank the volume way up because it’s so good. Our choice for this week, will be revealed at some point during the show.
If you’d like to get in touch, you can and I’d love to hear from you. Feel free to contact me in any of the following ways:
