Welcome To The First Weekend Of 2017

Hi everyone. I hope you all had a nice Christmas, and I wish you a happy 2017. After a short working week for some of us, I look forward to pushing the button, on Friday at 7PM in Ireland and the UK, or 2PM Eastern, to welcome you to the first Weekend this year.

The show isn’t live, but I’ll have 2 hours of feel good music and friendly banter, to set you up for the Weekend ahead.

Features on the show include:
Kick-Start. The track that sets the pace for the Weekend ahead. We’ll hear a tune released in 2005, by a British Girl group.
Weekend Rewind. Taking you back to good things that you did in times gone by. George Michael reminds me of good times while I was growing up during the 1980s. Sadly he left us on Christmas Day but he has left me with a lot of good memories. Beginning with the Late Great Legend, we’ll hear some tunes from this wonderful decade in music. Some will be familiar to you, and some not, but they were all released in the 80s.
