There's so much in this week's Music Machine it would take a book to tell you about it all. But lets try and summarise all the good things to come. I hope you can join me at 7 PM in the UK this Saturday which is 2 PM US Eastern on Team-FM!

We'll begin with the Saturday Connection. Four songs with a common theme, and this week, it's all about sweets!

In Golden Years, going back to two years through music, movie clips and TV, we look at this week in 1986 and 1970.

Happy Friday everyone. At 7PM in Ireland and the UK today, or 2PM Eastern, I look forward to saying Welcome to the Weekend to you all. It was at that exact time, on this day, the same date, August 24th, that I said the same thing in 2012, and Welcome to the Weekend was born on Team Fm. The show has gone through many changes since then, but the one thing that remains the same, is that its 2 hours of feel good music and friendly banter. The perfect way to close the busy week, and get ready for the Weekend ahead.

If you're a loyal listener to the show, you'll know that over the past three months, we've been testing the musical knowledge of our listeners to see whether they have what it takes to become the music game champion of 2018. i asked questions throughout each show in many musical genres, the points rolled over from week to week, and we ended up with two outstanding players who consistently were brilliant each time.

The studio has gone through a few changes, with the best people on the job to make it all happen. Definitely, the show wouldn’t be the same without it.
