Call my Name, and I'll Welcome you to the Weekend

Hi everyone. If you call my Name, Brian D, and tune into the Station where great music matters, Team Fm, today at 7PM in Ireland and the UK, 3PM Eastern, I’ll Welcome you to the Weekend. I’ll be with you for 2 fun filled hours, with a fine selection of feel good tunes, and a large helping of friendly banter. The perfect medicine to set you up for the Weekend ahead.

All our regular features will be here too, such as:
• Kick-start. We’ll begin with a bouncy tune, released in the Summer of 2012, that will get stuck in your head all Weekend long.
• The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. You’ll hear 3 versions of the same song, by 3 different artists. You can tell me if you like too, which one is Good, Bad or Ugly.
• Weekend Rewind. Taking you back to good things that you did in times gone by, through memories and music. In the early 1980’s, I have fond memories of Stars on 45, or Star Sound as it became known in Ireland and the UK. It grew to be a huge craze that swept across the charts, and many medleys were released by a wide range of artists as a result. It is this phenomenon that I’ll take you back to today.
• Team Fm Top Tune of the Week. A large number of Singles are released weekly. However, to carry the honour of being the Team Fm Top Tune of the Week, it has to be top notch, it must be better than the rest. Just before it comes on, you’ll be advised to crank the volume way up because it’s so good. Our choice for this week, will be revealed at some point during the show.
