Three is a Crowd Returns!

Do you remember our show Three is a Crowd we had during the major lockdown? Well it's back! You can hear it each Saturday and Sunday at 11 PM UK.

Each week, you'll hear songs that were number 3 this week in previous years. On Saturday nights, it's the 80's and beyond. On Sundays, it's the 60's and beyond.

Hear the songs and the facts behind some of them in Three is a Crowd!

Enjoy your day!

Changing Times!

Hi to All

You will remember back in March when lockdown in the UK began, we introduced some extra shows to lift the spirits of everyone. While we've received a tremendous amount of positive feedback about these, we confirmed that they would only be in place for several weeks. In fact they've been on air every week for close to six months. We hope you have enjoyed them.

The time has come however to make some changes and say goodbye to some shows, at least for the moment in the current series. We do apologise for this. So, here are the changes.

Get Ready for a 70's Sunday Lunch!

Hi everyone

When you think of music from the 70's, is it glam and glitter that springs instantly to mind? There was a gentler side to the music of the 70's: songs which were melodic that everyone could sing along to. That's what we'll be having every week at 1 PM in 70's Sunday Lunch.

Not all the songs will be down tempo, but we're certain that it's the kind of music you will enjoy while you are eating that lovely roast lamb or whatever takes your fancy. Most songs you will probably know, but we also have the occasional album track as well.

The Music Machine presents: "From Soap Star to Pop Star!"

We've seen them on the TV, and we may have heard them on the radio. This week, the Music Machine celebrates the stars of soap operas who have stepped into the recording studio!

We're used to pop stars' careers drying up before they hit the small screen for a life in soap: your Lee Ryans, your Kym Marshes, your Shayne Wards.

But for many, it's the other way around. Sometimes a star will be torn between acting and singing and choose the perfect moment to leave, exchanging scripts
for a microphone.

The Music Machine is Extended for One Week Only!

Hi to all

Due to ill health, Lulu is not able to bring to you Saturday Night Smooth this week, so instead, the Music Machine will be on air for an extra hour this time. Starting at 7 PM UK through to 10, there will be album news, more Golden Years, more games and hopefully your requests. I need your help to fill up the show, so if there’s something I can play for you, do send an email to brian@team-fm.com!

See you Saturday!

The Team-FM Sing-a-long-athon! Starts Thursday 9 AM UK.

This included "Clap for Carers" last Thursday. Now, we do this once again on Thursday starting at 9 A M UK time as it is Sing-a-Long Day!

The Music Machine, the 50's and the Best of British?

Hi everyone

I hope you will be able to join me for my shows on Team-FM this weekend!

The Music Machine, Saturday 7 PM. Plenty of album news this week of new releases from classic artists you know and love. We've got the Looney-Spoons game, Golden Years 1982 and 1973, and we'll be remembering the music from songwriter and producer Andy Hill. He produced and wrote many songs for Bucks Fizz and other artists too.

Sunday Gold, Sunday 10 AM. Particularly focusing upon music of the 50's this week including a top 5 from 1954!

Sunday Gold and Our Time Shows.

Hi everyone and happy Saturday!

Please join me on Sunday morning at 10 AM for Sunday Gold. Whether you are snuggling in bed and reading the papers or preparing the Sunday roast, you can hear some golden oldies from the 50's and 60's. While every week I play songs from each decade to provide a good balance, I take turns to focus on each of them. This week it's the 1950's.

Will There Be a Movie About the Bee Gees?

That's just one of the questions to be answered in this week's Music Machine! As always it happens on Saturday at 7 PM UK time!
I have all the regular features.

Golden Years, taking you back to 1980 and 1972 with movie clips, commercials and the best in music.

The Vinyl Countdown, playing a song from my vinyl record collection. we're going back to the 70's with that one and we'll be asking you not to get your nickers in a twist!

Shows from Brian Hartgen This Weekend.

Hi everyone

I'm really looking forward to hosting my shows this weekend on Team-FM, where great music matters! I have some good things to come.

The Music Machine. I have news of greatest hits albums being released this year including those out today, and I'll play some tracks from them. I have Golden Years 1982 and 1977, looking back at those years through music, movies and commercials as we always do. There's the Vinyl Countdown, the Looney-Spoons game and a review of a great box set if you love the ladies! There's plenty of room for your song requests too.
