Welcome to a Four Day Weekend!

Hi everyone. It’s only once a year I can say this, Welcome to a Four Day Weekend. For most people, good Friday is regarded as a holiday day, and is the Start of the Easter Weekend. Not only do we get the normal 2 days off work, but Monday is a holiday day too, thank Heavens.
Today at 7PM in Ireland and the UK, that’s 2PM Eastern, I’d love it if you could join me, Brian D, to officially Welcome you to this extra Long Weekend. I’ll have two hours of feel good tunes, with a pile of friendly banter too, to set you up for this Easter Weekend.

The Music Machine is Young at Heart!

Hi everyone

I hope you can join me on Saturday for another fun-filled Music Machine on Team-FM. It all happens at 7 PM UK time which is 2 PM US Eastern. I will have the usual features:

Compilation albums of the past. This week I feature a 5 CD compilation box set from Readers Digest, "Young at Heart, Songs from the Early 80's"!

Golden Years, taking you back to this week in a particular year through movie clips, TV and of course, the music. It's 1982 in hour 1 and 1975 in hour 2!

I’ll do just that with 2 hours of up-beat feel good tunes, with a warm and friendly vibe. Together we’ll kiss the working week goodbye, and say hi to the Weekend that lies ahead.

Hi everyone. Today at 7PM in Ireland and the UK, or 3PM Eastern, I’d love it if you would allow me, Brian D, to give you a warm Irish Welcome to a long Weekend. Broadcasting from Dublin Town in Ireland, I have 2 hours of feel good music, and as we say the craic will be 90 too. The perfect way to get your Weekend off on the right track. It’s no ordinary Weekend though! It’s the only one of the year when the whole world goes Green for St. Patrick.

As I said in the previous show, CD box sets have been released celebrating the TV show Top of the Pops. Those dedicated to the 80's are already available, with the 70's albums to be released today. These celebration albums are on CD only. So we'll be listening to tracks from the 1974 and 1975 albums this week, with 60 tracks included in each set, many of which have been remastered!
